If you enjoy Paris, then you'll enjoy this love letter to it.

One of my favorite cities in the world has a TV show that shows those of us who love it why we fell in love with it in the first place.

Though it's just started its fourth season—Martin and I are only into Season 1— Emily in Paris (you'll find it on Netflix) is a love letter to this wonderful picturesque city. Be it a bridge (Pont Alexandre III), a garden (Jardin des Tuileries), or a plaza (Place de la Concorde) that hasn't been touted by filmmakers as romantic.

Whether you've never been there, seen it once, or make it a regular watering hole on you world travels, seeing it through the lead character, Emily's, happy-go-lucky twenty-something American eyes makes it easy to fall in love with it all over again.

Granted, the French are nothing like us—especially in how they dress. They are known for their sense of style…

Or are they?

According to the show's costume designerMarylin Fitoussi, the city's renowned savoir faire is now more relaxed. Frankly, I'm glad she's made it her mandate to give those of us whose vision of those who live in the City of Light dress as if every day promises a party, or adventure—

Or yet another chance at romance.

Go ahead and laugh at—make that laugh with—Emily.

Best yet, enjoy the views!
